Introducing the Crop Signals project, a platform created to present a case for and facilitate the study, analysis, and discussion of: Crop Circles (also known as “Agrograms”) – taking seriously the likelihood that these are messages from a higher intelligence. We are providing a comprehensive database of these signals – including their locations, dates, and descriptions in the hope of discovering their true meaning.

This website features community driven voting and rating system to sort the man made “hoax” crop circles from the “genuine” signals from a higher intelligence and uncover yet undiscovered connections and patterns. You are welcome to view and discuss the various crop circle designs we have catalogued and to contribute your own, give your thoughts and help uncover further details and meanings within the designs, dates and locations.

Crop Circle patterns feature all of the hallmarks of what we might expect receive as messages from a higher intelligence or extra terrestrial beings.

It’s a non-intrusive, visual form of communication accessible intellectually and physically once a threshold of intelligence and technology (the ability to view the patterns from the air and to comprehend the meaning of the patterns).
The patterns themselves exhibit these too, with various fractal patterns and sacred geometry being prime examples of universally meaningful patterns and signs or “signature” of communication from intelligent life to other intelligent life.
The simple circles appearing early in the season represent hydrogen atoms or cells as a “hello” – as famous scientists such as Carl Sagan have theorised that we might use to communicate with other intelligent life in the universe.
There is even evidence of crop circles appearing as far back as the 1600’s, but was often confused for a weather phenomena.

People have dismissed Crop Circles as an elaborate hoax or eccentric artform for far too long. The more you study the content of many of these “Agrograms” – the more you realise it’s likely their true source is an intelligence that is beyond human. Something in your soul screams of the divine when you see them. There is a long road ahead in discovery and disclosure on the subject, but with your help we can compile this lexicon to aid in the evolution of humanity.

The Greeting Sign

It all begins with the hydrogen atom pattern which appears frequently as would a signal from a higher intelligence as theorised by Carl Sagan. Because it appears so frequently, in many different locations all over the world and so many times at the beginning of each yearly season and clearly represents the hydrogen atom or a “cell”, it would undoubtedly be a great way for a higher intelligence to adopt this pattern as a hello, as we ourselves have theorised.

The Life Sign

Another extremely common pattern we see in crop circles (in many different forms and adaptations) is what likely extends upon the hydrogen pattern being similar, but with 4 outer circles – possibly symbolising Methane (carbon + 4 hydrogen atoms) – a biosignature for life.

In 2002 we finally got a message included with a portrait of what appears to be a “grey” alien holding a disc. The disc contains a binary code which when decoded into ASCII reads: “Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. Much pain but still time. We oppose deception. Conduit closing”

July 29

The Mowing Devil

The Mowing-Devil: or, Strange News out of Hartford-shire is the title of an English pamphlet published in 1678. The pamphlet describes a night following a dispute with a neighbour, a farmers field appeared to be in flame. The next morning, the field was found to be perfectly mowed, “that no mortal man was able to do the like”. This pamphlet, and the accompanying illustration, are often cited by crop circle researchers as among the first recorded cases of crop circles. The crop circle phenomena is also commonly associated with glowing light “orbs”, which in 1678 would have been described as “flame” as this was the primary source of light at the time and lends further credence to the crop circle association.

Arecibo Message Sent

The Arecibo message was a series of binary digits transmitted towards the globular star cluster M13, with the hopes of communicating with intelligent extra-terrestrial life. The message contained information about human biology, our solar system, and our technology, among other things. The three-minute radio message broadcast a series of exactly 1,679 binary digits (a multiple of two prime numbers) the Arecibo telescope in an attempt to communcate our existence out to the universe.

Recieved The Wow Signal

“6EQUJ5” with numbers and letters representing peak amplitude. Numbers represent a low signal, Q and U represent the peak. Each letter represents a 12 second gap in the timeline of the signal detection (consistent with the Big Ear Telescope scanning pattern) making the total signal length just over 72 seconds.

Crop Circle Phenomena Emerges

Colin Andrews coins the term crop circles. Many of the first circles are only described by witnesses, commonly up to 5 circles.

Rendelsham Forest Incident

Often referred to as “Britain’s Roswell incident”, 3 US servicemen were on patrol and saw strange lights in the forest. Upon investigation they came across a craft giving a detailed description of the craft. One of the men Jim Penniston touched the craft and was knocked out, when he woke up he started receiving data in the form of a binary code. “It appears that they sent 8 bit ASCII when it had not even been invented yet. In 1980, we were still using a 7 bit ASCII encoding that was developed in 1967. The 8 bit ASCII used in this message was not even proposed until 1983 and adopted finally in 1986. Penniston claims to have written this message down in his journal at the time of the incident, or the day after (12/27) in 1980.”

Hello Hydrogen

Often appearing in crop circles at the beginning of the year as a hello and establish communication with intelligent life. Depicted as a hydrogen atom or cell this is most likely used as a greeting sign from other intelligent lifeforms in the universe. SETI scans the hydrogen line radio frequency of 1420mhz, which is the same frequency emitted by accelerated hydrogen atoms (the most common element in the Universe) and is therefore thought to be a frequency on which intelligent beings might use as a “Hello” signal. Interestingly the famous “Wow!” signal was hypothesised to be of alien origin because it was at this frequency at high intensity. The Pioneer plaque, attached to the Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 spacecraft, portrays the hyperfine transition of neutral hydrogen and used the wavelength as a standard scale of measurement. For example, the height of the woman in the image is displayed as eight times 21 cm. The 21 cm hydrogen line is a favourable frequency used by the SETI program in their search for signals from potential extra-terrestrial civilizations. In 1959, Italian physicist Giuseppe Cocconi and American physicist Philip Morrison published “Searching for interstellar communications”, a paper proposing the 21 cm hydrogen line and the potential of microwaves in the search for interstellar communications.

Arecibo Message Response

This is precisely what we would expect to receive as a message from an extra terrestrial source – a reply to a radio message broadcast by SETI in 1974 as a hello from humanity to the stars. Close to 31 years later in 2001, this crop pattern appeared in a field beside the Chilbolton Observatory in Hampshire, UK. This response time could indicate that the sender inhabits a star system around either 30 light years away if their method of communication operates instantaneously or 15 years light years away if it is limited to the speed of light. The response contains various clues as to who or what they are: biologically they are silicon based instead of carbon based with an extra strand in their DNA, they are significantly shorter than us with larger heads and they inhabit 3 planets out of 8 planets either in their star system or in our own as the solar system depicts 9 planets including a ring for Saturn and the gas giants highlighted as such. They use the same mathematical system as us and have an overall population of around 30 billion. Most curiously we also have at the bottom a depiction of the device used to broadcast the message which also appeared as it’s own Agrogram the previous year in 2000.

Sacred Geometry Atom

Yet another stunning expansion on the sacred geometry pattern, this one showing 2 rings of 20 cubes around the seed and 4 layers of interference triangles radiating the outer ring. This one appeared near Sugar Hill, not far from Barbury Castle. Interestingly 2 years later in 2009 scientists published the first ever image of an atom which resembles the pattern.

This incredible formation appeared in 3 parts in just over a week and seems to depict some kind of device (first 2 parts) projecting a strange language or pattern that we think could be the device used for making the crop circles.

The Pentyrch Incident

A CLAIMED Cardiff UFO sighting and an alleged military cover-up is the subject of a book by a woman who says she witnessed the events. On Friday 26 February 2016, Caz Clarke, 57, of Pentyrch, claims she saw something, quite literally, out of this world. ‘’It was enormous, majestic, no way you could be mistaken,’’ said Mrs Clarke, who works in security. Omouamoua Intelligent Life Probe

Omouamoua was first spotted on 19 October 2017 by a telescope in Hawaii spotted it passing by the Sun, reaching a top speed of 87 kilometers per second, too fast to have originated in the Solar System and must have been an interstellar object of some kind. It could also depict the spinning motion of the object. Professor Avi Loeb advocated that this object Omouamoua could have been some kind of probe sent by another civilization from elsewhere in the galaxy. It was detected to have used the gravity of the sun (Sol) to accelerate and “slingshot” it’s way towards another star system. The elongated shape and spinning motion is exactly like something we would design as a spacecraft to in order to generate gravity while in space and physically travel to other star systems (perhaps in stasis).

The Crop Signals Project Created

With this timeline considered, it’s time to accept that there is a high probability that we are not alone and that what we refer to as the crop circle phenomena is in fact and attempt by a higher intelligence to contact humanity. As this hypothesis is becoming increasingly more like to be proven by the day, it was time to jump ahead and start building a resource around the concept and begin decoding and deciphering these most curious and inspirational designs to help advance humanity.
