Here we have what seems to depict some kind of projectile with an arrow like tip and circles decreasing in size hinting at propulsion of some kind. Scientists have theorised the use of tiny light sail spacecraft that could theoretically approach light speed and be used to send back data from nearby star systems within 20 years. The craft are propelled by directed energy that could be provided by a network of stations that would need to be arrayed around the planet to accelerate the sails through interstellar space. Interestingly the pattern of expanding dots used to depict incoming energy or laser light matches the style of the strange “laser” instrument signal. There is also another repeat of this pattern appearing to depict the same strange signal patterns found on the stage 3 of the signal transmitter diagram. It would be fascinating to discover that this provides some kind of optimal design for such a spacecraft.
