Depicted here is undoubtedly a perfect, unique artistic presentation of the number PI to the first 10 digits: 3.141592654 appearing overnight in a crop field and measuring 150ft in diameter. This design and concept had never been considered or seen before by humanity, which means it’s appearance in itself is very close to solid evidence that we are dealing with an intelligence in advance of our own.
In a mechanical circular style resembling the internal workings of a lock, it clearly features a familiar circular “Hydrogen signature” outline and centre. This is possibly to indicate the patterns relationship to circles and it also features a clear decimal point indicator and a spiral of notches to indicate the decimal place values of PI.
This crop circle pattern appeared near Barbury castle, site of one of the first complex patterns the Barbury Castle Trinary crop pattern which appeared back in 1991 and is one of the most iconic and famous crop circles, what’s interesting also is that both patterns feature this “notched” spiral method of conveying numeric information.
This location is also notable as it appeared near to one of the 16 chalk white horse murals found only in south west UK.
